Opening the Door to Music in Schools

Music education plays a crucial role in shaping young minds by fostering intellectual growth and enhancing both academic and personal development. With the increasing pressure on teachers to satisfy other curricular targets music is falling behind. We believe that a love of music begins at an early age and that by giving children access to quality musical education at the primary school age they have a greater chance of succes in secondary education. Our inclusive primary school programs cater to diverse learning needs, accommodating all students and giving ALL children the opportunity to find joy and enrichment in music.

Making Music Accessible For All

EYFS

Our performances are perfect for even the youngest school children. Giving children early access to fun and engaging musical education experiences is vital in early years development. It fosters an enthusiasm for music, feeds curious minds and builds confidence in taking part leading to more succesful first access adoption later on.

Key Stage 1 & 2

Our primary age programmes are designed to not only tackle the key elements of the music curriculum, but also key into the wider KS1 &KS2 curriculum. We give children an opportunity to see, listen and experience music in a way that extends beyond the normal stereotypes of "pop" and "classical". Encouraging children to take part, try new things and boosting first access uptake.

SEND Schools

Perhaps the most rewarding work we do is with the children at SEND schools. Giving these children the opportunity to access music throuch touch and vibrations as well as allowing them the opportunity to join in with a range of music is such a joy. We allow children to engage at their own pace and whether they want to jump, dance and sing along or just sit back and listen the impact that music has on these children is truly delightful to see.
